Why I Do This
The story behind Corporate to Canines.
In 2021 I was going through one of the hardest seasons of my life. I was depressed. Overly stressed and anxious. Working an incredibly demanding job and honestly just trying to survive each day. I had talked about getting a dog for years but always convinced myself I wasn't ready. How could I make room for someone else when I was barely keeping myself together?
Then one morning in late 2022 I woke up and just knew. It was time.
Enter Cooper. He healed me. In more ways than I will ever be able to fully explain.
Cooper fell in love with a little pomsky girl at his puppy training and daycare and we knew quickly that our family needed to grow. Enter Bella. Watching Cooper and Bella grow up together, experiencing their first winters, their first snow, their first everything, was one of the greatest joys of my life.
Then came Christmas 2024. We never planned on a third dog. But we found Koda and we just knew. She was the missing puzzle piece we didn't even know we were missing.
These three dogs didn't just change my life. They became my purpose. That's why I started Corporate to Canines. Because I know firsthand what a dog can do for a person's heart. And I want every pet in my care to feel as loved as Cooper, Bella and Koda feel every single day.
And cat people, I see you too. 🐱
Growing up I desperately wanted a cat. My mom always told me my older brother was allergic. Fast forward thirty years and my brother has a cat of his own. Spoiler alert, he is not allergic. 😂 I have never had a cat in my home but I have always had a special place in my heart for them. Your cats are in very good hands with me.
